  • Outside of having significantly more formats and methods available (some of which are experimental), the only other thing really notable is that 7zip doesn’t seem to have a “tar before” option, like PeaZip does. I can see that in the manual, that 7zip can tar files before compressing but you have to do that manually.

I should probably mention that my original comment was comparing PeaZIp to WinRAR. I actually didn’t use 7zip until I tested for the purpose of comparing it to PeaZip in this comment.

  • Yeah, the pictures below shows what happens when I try to select an alternative source for any version of the song. Every version of the song on YouTube works in my web browser. So unless it’s somehow different when using the API instead of YouTube directly through a browser, that shouldn’t be the problem. Also, I live in the US and I’m not using a VPN. Every other song I’ve listened to so far works perfectly fine for me, it’s just this one for some reason.

  • Yes but all of the files I move are either already very small or they are compressed (and sometimes split as well) so they can fit. One of the devices has 4GB of Storage and the other one has 8GB of storage but I do also have a thumb drive that can hold 32GB if I ever need to move something big (which has yet to happen). Most of the things I move are just games I download from Itch so it’s very rarely anything over a few GBs, so the 4GB device gets the job done 99% of the time.

When I was using the 8GB device for music, I never really ran into problems with storage space and even if I did, the device has a micro SD card slot that supports up to 128GB micro SD cards. But I have phones that I can use for this purpose now, so not being able to use the mp3s for music isn’t a problem.
