Searxng aggregates search results from multiple search engines.
Kagi is it’s own search engine.

I’ve been using Kagi for about a month and I do like it. It’s my first time using a paid search engine though, and it does feel weird and expensive.

Wow, didn’t know this was a thing. I was watching What They Do in the Shadows recently and there’s a Superbowl episode.
I have only followed a few people and they are from the suggested list. I picked Rochki, it’s FOSS, ars technica, and nixCraft. I just went to the search tab in Mastodon and the first two messages are about blocking people and nazis. Not sure how that’s my fault.
I find Mastodon to be just as toxic as Twitter before X.
