Tried for a few weeks now, always getting “we’re working on it…” message.
Don’t get me wrong I’m not asking for defederation. But it’s more a personal choice to not wanting to see radicalised headlines. That’s why I am on kbin in the first place. Freedom from all the political noise. But the increasing number of Hexbear posts (and others) makes the stay uncomfortable for me.
Anyone have a solution to this problem other than nuking those domains with ublock? Or is this a known bug that will get fixed eventually? Have not seen anything on the issues page so far…
I hope. After the whole Lemmygrad and Beehaw fiasco, I guess there’s always going to be a vocal minority of cool kids trying to take over Lemmy like some kind of incursion.
This current instance federates with them unlike the one I was at before but I never see any threads from there on my feed. Only users in the comments. Can’t you just block the communities in question?
That gives the same error.
The connect app has instance level blocking which is really nice
