    I wouldn’t say they’re trying to screw everyone. They just accept that it’s an inevitable part of capitalism and neoliberalism.

    I worry that everyone has very high hopes expectations of labour and that they should all be ready to be rather disappointed.

      Except it doesn’t need to be part of it. Capitalism is perfectly capable of being run in a manner that is not corrupt and greedy.

      There is a middle ground between socialism and neoliberalism that has been moved away from with increasing rapidity by the Tories.

        I’m inclined to agree, I’m just sceptical that labour are going to be the change that we want to see.

        Sure, they’ll probably be slightly less evil than the Tories, but not by a considerable amount.
