It’s shocking how easy it is. I’ve gotten in the habit of stripping out the caps from old electronics before I recycle them. Makes repairs a lot easier when you’ve got spare parts.
Im sure theres other sources but I started by watching stezstix fix and my mate vince on youtube, haha. For basic soldering tip care/tips again various youtube videos and practice the same with how to use a multimeter. A good practice project imo are those old, faulty dream machine alarm clocks you can get cheap from a thrift store plus at the end you get a pretty great alarm clock.
