In OP’s case it sounds like the VPN service is the whole reason they’re using it. Not that I would recommend it, as their corporate IT likely has a policy against exactly this sort of thing
Since October 7, some 8,000 foreign agricultural workers have fled Israel out of 30,000 foreign workers in the farming sector
…
some 20,000 Palestinian agricultural workers have been banned from entering the country
I’m no mathematician, but their ethnic cleansing project may be getting too big for its britches. Ask the right-wing Zionists who they expect to pick their crops after they banish all the scary people; then ask a Trump supporter the same about migrants, you’ll get the same vacant stare as they attempt to grok that actions have consequences.
This is not to say economic desperation alone is the cause of gun violence, but easy access to guns, the complete disdain for funding healthcare mental or otherwise, the lack of vacation for most workers, these are all things which don’t make well people.
An old man is selling watermelons. His pricelist reads: 1 for $3, 3 for $10
A young man stops by and asks to buy one watermelon. “That’d be 3 dollars”, says the old man.
The young man then buys another one, and another one, paying $3 for each.
As the young man is walking away, he turns around, grins, and says, “Hey old man, do you realize I just bought three watermelons for only $9? Maybe business is not your thing.”
The old man smiles and mumbles to himself, “People are funny. Every time they buy three watermelons instead of one, yet they keep trying to teach me how to do business…”
I just keep a dedicated pair of pliers on a hook in the bathroom, thought this was normal?

Really liked how you worded that. It reminded me of this video about afterlife I rewatch when I’m having an existential crisis. One quote from the video,
“Ironically enough the only part of me that is immortal, for all intents and purposes, is my material body. Because after I die, and after our Sun dies, and after the planetary nebula it leaves behind fades away, every atom of me will be recycled back into the universe. Ultimately becoming part of other planets and stars. We are originally star dust literally, and we will be star dust again.”
It’s also a solvable problem. Here’s an example of a local flight school which was able to switch from leaded to a lead-free alternative this year.
Not all piston aircraft can run that fuel, but I err heavily on the side of not just accepting some level of lead exposure.
I’ve had no issues with the cheap $20-40 USD bidets from Amazon, while I’m sure the fanciness of a heated bidet would change my life I don’t see the need.
Has anyone asked Trump to look in the last place he had it? Probably will involve tracing an airplane flying to a hostile foreign country, but that’s a start
