Anytime I’m about to get fancy with git I have to stop and remember that I’m an idiot and am probably not doing something else right.

I could see people not wanting someone to post 30 times in a short time. It’s not hard to keep up with the Lemmy new feed so it gets a bit annoying when a bot starts blasting.
As a side note, it’s pretty funny to see people responding to posts like they’re being specifically targeted. I remember some dude posted a question in “foo” and another dude was like “idk I’ve never used foo”
I found that funny af
Funny enough I’ve seen a few Walmarts with mini police stations inside of them.
Is less people really such a bad thing? We’re at a point where everyone’s already complaining about housing and climate change.
We can blame the 1% and we can say the elderly will suffer but something’s gotta give. I feel we’re all buying into a pyramid scheme.
Good?
Edit: oh I originally read the other comment as another “oh no don’t send shit to Ukraine we’re all gonna die”
Intercepting shit? It’s not like we need patriots for bombing things since we have plenty of other shit.
I’m not sure what it is about car map searches but the suggested locations are always crap. My wife uses CarPlay and I’ll use that or android auto in my car. (So Apple Maps then google maps)
If you type like grocery into either of the maps from the dash then they’ll lose their goddamn minds and recommend some backwoods gas station instead of the local Kroger.
On our phones it’s totally fine but jfc the dash results
Because of problems at home I skipped maybe 80% of high school and lucked my way into college. I’m probably as dumb as a programmer can be but still do it professionally.
I hate the “if I can do it anyone can” remarks but in this instance it’s totally true
I used to make bots in RuneScape. If I’m being honest post high school I had to pick something and just said fuck it CS degree
I’ll practice with a smaller banana to train my gag reflex
Yeah I just assume someone’s American unless I’m in a specific sub
Hah I was about to say that only bad part of startups that I’ve had was that you weren’t sure if you’d have a job six months from now. I probably just got lucky and jumped on board during the “throw cash at everything phase”
