You put a £1 coin in, you get a trolley, when you’re finished and put it back you get your £1 again. If you leave your trolley somewhere without putting it away you lose your £1 and whoever decides to grab it gets a free £1.

Sounds shit, the admins must be right bitches
Honda and Toyota last forever. Incredibly reliable cars.
You can get manual electric cars, they’re just rare. A lot of electric conversion cars can still be manual too.
Yes, I’m from the UK so pretty much everyone here can even if they own an automatic. It’s not seen as a big deal here, it’s just normal.
I prefer manuals, I won’t be buying an automatic until my leg falls off.
Log Horizon.
I like videogames, being transported to a world that is an MMO, even down to menu boxes would be awesome.
I find it easier. It’s also safer, backing out of a space you’re more likely to hit someone walking or driving past. If you find reversing in to a space hard then maybe you shouldn’t be driving a giant metal death machine.
Big fan of Mighty Car Mods. Been going since the mid 2000s, but still don’t do any BS, just good car videos. From long Top Gear Special style videos like Kei to the City down to quick and small videos like How to change your steering wheel.
I just use 7zip to make .zip if I think the person I’m sending it to won’t know what a .7z is or how to unzip it.
If my work tried to end WFH I’d leave instantly.
2 hours drive a day is not only a waste of my time but my money on fuel.
100% there’s a hivemind. That’s why I joined lemmy.one, downvotes are disabled to try and stop hivemind downvotings and encourage discussion. On local communities it works well, if only more of the bigger federations disabled them too.
My car tax (VED) is £20 a year, Vs £0 on electric. Fuel and the extra £20 tax a year doesn’t equate to the cost of an EV just yet.
EVs are definitely still a luxury, poor people aren’t going round with EVs.
I don’t know where you are, but in Europe it’s much cheaper to buy a used Gasoline car. I just got a 1L petrol car for the equivalent of $10k, I can’t find a good electric car for anywhere close to that.
Gonna run my 90s Toyota until it’s physically impossible

It’s 497x886 pixels. It’s not a large image.
Some form of exercise, I like weight lifting (bodyweight fitness is also fantastic)
Be disciplined and go even when you don’t want to because when you’re there you’re glad you are. If you progressively overload every workout you aim for a new best, something to strive for. Then at the end you get the happy chemicals. Working out is amazing for improving mental health, and you get good visual and physical health benefits too.
I might put it towards ad removal for Sync for Lemmy, haven’t fully decided yet.
If electric cars follow this path and aren’t replaced with something else like enviro-friendly fuels, electric cars.
I don’t have an electric car, I dislike how many artificially limit things like speed, it shouldn’t be a paid upgrade if the hardware is capable, the amount of tracking worries me too, like Tesla staff could see through your cabin cameras.
I’d rather have environment friendly fuels that work with older cars, even if that requires a new ECU+Fuel pump.
Ok, and I just told you in the UK how it’s done and that you don’t do that. You don’t swap, you keep it until you return it yourself outside.
