I have no idea whether it will be effective, but it is part of the plan.
I think a realistic solution is to lift some sanctions. It’s not ideal but I don’t see a different way.
Wouldn’t that just encourage them to do it again next time so they have a bargaining chip?
The idea is to escalate the sanctions as they escalate the war, and lift part of the sanctions for giving back the children.
